Instructions: How to download and save online videos to your computer
1. If the video clip is on Google video, you should see a link to the right of the video that says "Download video - iPod/PSP." Simply click on that link and follow the instructions to save the file to your hard drive. This will give you a .mp4 file that will work in Windows Media Player or in iTunes. If you would like to convert that file to a different format, then copy the URL at the top of the page and then follow the instructions in steps 2–4 below. 2. To convert file format, go to www.zamzar.com and select the tab that says "Convert Online Video." 3. Paste the copied URL from YouTube into the window that says "Paste URL". Then select a file format. For a PC, then .wmv (Windows Media Video) would be a good choice. For a Mac, .mov (Quicktime) is your best option. Next, enter your e-mail address and hit the "convert" button. 4. You should receive an e-mail with a link and instructions to download the converted file to your computer. The file will open in either Windows Media Player or Quicktime (depending on which format you chose). If you have any questions or experience any trouble with this process, please feel free to email
