Insights for navigating the mental health challenges facing students today

Schools everywhere are feeling the impact of student mental health struggles—rising anxiety and depression, increasing behavior concerns, grief and loss, and more frequent crisis situations. As an educator, you see it every day: students carrying heavy burdens that affect not only their well-being but also their ability to learn.

That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for a special webinar with leaders from New Vista, a Kentucky-based organization providing school-based mental health services across 17 counties. Together, we’ll explore what schools are facing right now—and most importantly, what educators can do today to make a difference.

This free event will give you a window into how New Vista partners with schools, families, and communities, and will leave you with practical, classroom-ready strategies you can put into action immediately. Whether you’re a teacher, counselor, or administrator, you’ll walk away with fresh insights, encouragement, and a renewed sense of hope for the vital work you’re doing.

What You’ll Learn

In this one-hour conversation, our panel of mental health leaders will share:

  • The most common challenges students are facing right now—and what’s driving them.
  • How New Vista’s school-based liaisons, crisis response teams, and family supports are helping students thrive.
  • Practical strategies for supporting students with anxiety, behavior struggles, or grief in your own classroom.
  • How to collaborate with local mental health partners, even if you don’t have access to a program like New Vista.
  • What gives them hope about the future of student mental health.

This conversation is for anyone who cares about making schools more resilient, supportive, and human-centered. Come learn with us, share your insights, and walk away with tools you can apply right away in your own school or district.
