Hans Magleby, President
Hans Magleby is the president and founder of WhyTry and creator the WhyTry Program with Christian Moore. Hans has a diverse background in technology, education, and business. He studied fine art at Brigham Young University and was a part-time faculty member there, teaching classes in painting and computer art. During that time, he also worked as the art director
for a video game company and developed a passion for using technology to teach and engage youth. Hans later started Freeservers, a successful Internet company that grew rapidly to support and service over 2 million customers prior to being sold to internet portal About.com. Since selling Freeservers, Hans has been dedicated to the growth and mission of WhyTry, developing practical tools to teach resilience and motivate youth. His experience in product development and instructional design have been key to the creation and success of the WhyTry Program.
Valerie Bagley, Director of Product Development
Scott White, Director of Operations
As the office manager for WhyTry since 2005, Scott has become expert at ensuring that the 400+ WhyTry event days
per year run smoothly. He also manages WhyTry's accounting, supervises fulfillment and production, and coordinates
the WhyTry training team. Scott holds a bachelors degree in art.

Brad Anderson, Corporate Resilience Project
Brad Anderson, co-founder of Covey Leadership Center (currently Franklin-Covey), produced The Seven Habits of
Highly Effective People product line, including the Seven Habits course and Seven Habits facilitator training used by
millions. He is an award-winning producer of films on leadership and resilience. He was director of trainer development
at VitalSmarts, creators of Crucial Conversations. Brad is co-author with WhyTry Founder Christian Moore of the book
The Resilience Breakthrough, and provides continued support in the development of WhyTry's growing resilience product line.
